GD Energy Products Delivers Final Quincy-Manufactured PZ11 to Savanna Drilling

A significant moment in GD Energy Products' (GDEP) manufacturing history was recently marked by the delivery of a special piece of equipment to a key partner, Savanna Drilling. The final PZ11 pump, manufactured at GDEP's former facility in Quincy, IL, has officially joined Savanna Drilling's fleet, an industry leader recognized for its high-performance operations.

The pump, bearing serial number SN#Q027010, represents a tangible connection between GDEP's legacy and its future. While production of the historic PZ11 continues uninterrupted at other GDEP locations, this specific unit marks the end of an era for the Quincy facility, which was a cornerstone of equipment manufacturing for many decades.

This milestone delivery coincides with Savanna Drilling's strategic decision to standardize a portion of its fleet with the GDEP PZ11 pump. Savanna Drilling operates an advanced fleet across major shale plays in North America and Australia, where equipment reliability is critical for optimal performance.
